Dectector - a device with a bluish front panel that can detect the presence of others by picking up air movement and registering emotions, which it's able to record, analyze, and report on the species. It issues a beep when it detects a new presence in the immediate vicinity.

Identification Jewel - an electronic, multi-knotted, golden emblem with a colored jeweled in the center, which denotes a specific family line. (for example: the Koll family has a six-knotted emblem with a royal blue center)

Slave Collar - used to control and punish certain. prisoners (one public infraction and a collar becomes mandatory). Pulses can be sent through the collar to cause pain. The collars also track the location and physical health of prisoners and can only be deactivated from a main control room. A slave collar will kill if a slave escapes and reaches ground level without clearance.

Translator Chip - a chip, implanted within the ear of Xylons, so they can understand and speak other languages. Their speech patterns will often mimic whatever culture they're communicating in, even down to specific phrasing and slang (depending on the language). Though not all words will always translate, the rate of accuracy for known dialects is 95%.

Transport-connector (Trans-conn or TC) - a small, handheld device used to transport from place to place; the air around the subject shimmers during transport and there is a tingling sensation in one's midsection. All trans-con devices can be tracked as to their location and usage. They can also be remotely self-destructed if necessary (as in the case of a unit ending up in enemy hands).
