Banishment Zone - a moon where criminals/miscreants are sent for emprisonment and/or rehabilitation. Xylon has 4 banishment zones.

====================

Ice Moon - one of Xylon's lesser moons. Part of the moon is used as a banishment zone. An underground, substation (the largest of all Xylon's substations) occupies the other part of the moon.

====================

Marid - a moon of Xylon and a slaving colony. Few mountains, mostly flatlands (e.g. DustFire Flats), dry air. Marid is not under Xylon's control. The moon is ruled by Daegal, a fierce enemy of the Xylon Warriors.

====================

Samaria - an ally of Xylon. The planet has no major defense system of its own and relies primarily on Xylon for protection.

====================

Sand Moon - the most remote and primitive of Xylon's lesser moons. A banishment zone for criminals, who roam freely (mostly) in their own violent societies. A security force does exist here to monitor the comings and goings, but they do not generally interact directly with prisoners once they're released into the zone, unless someone tries to breach one of the perimeters.

No legal air-to-space travel exists on the Sand Moon except for prison vessels or off-moon medical or scientific transports with special clearance.

Water is so rare that the planet uses synthetic water for bathing -- a specially-treated, humidifed type of air, resembling fog.

The Sand Moon is notorious for its "cave holes" - holes in the caves that are reported to be bottomless.

Type F Planet - designation for a "friendly" planet

====================

Xylon - a red and green planet with five multi-colored moons (4 of which are designated as Banishment Zones) and two suns. From a distance, the planet often glows pink and blue-green. The planet is ruled by the Council of Thirteen and protected by the Xylon Warriors. At night, the Xylon sky turns dark red. The planet has four seasons, much like Earth, except the seasons are more extreme. Fun Facts: The snow on Xylon is pink and silver; the planet has silver clouds & purple and green mountainscapes.
