Branding Ceremony - a mating right that officially joins two people. A round mark is placed on the back of the neck of a female by the mouth of a warrior at the time of orgasm (both need to climax at the same time). Male breeders have an implant in their ouths along the inner portion of the lips for branding. A corresponding node in their implanted chip activiates the device.
A mental bond then forms and connects the two through their implanted chip, so they know each other's location, feelings, and oftentimes thoughts. The communication nodule only works effectively between 100% Xylons and sporadically through multi-genetic mates.
Each warrior has a unique mark of identification. Once branded, only another warrior can have sex with the female, otherwise a deadly poison seeps into the male's system, through his sweat glands.
On Braden Koll's recommendation to ensure no forced manipulation, 2 witnesses are present (if possible) during the ceremony in case either partipant changes their mind and wants to stop.

Initiation - an ancient rite, full of tradtion. A protection and bonding ceremony. A sexual rite.
When performed by Warriors for Xylon, the ceremony also prepares the body for breeding. When performed by Egesa for Marid, the ceremony sterilizes the subject. Once a warrior is initiated, the Egesa can no longer sterilize them.
| Unknown to the Xylon Warriors, unbranded female breeders can be temporarily sterilized through sexual penetration by Marid assassins and commanders. A formula was found that can be used once on a female, which will last for 10 months. The formula cannot be injected directly into the breeder, but transferred only through a male's cock (after the male receives the injection). The dosage cannot be increased, to lengthen the effective time, otherwise it makes the male impotent. |

Two dildos are used. The larger dildo (now 8 inches -- recently increased in size) is glass-like with an encased tube. Wires connect to a control panel on the base. The dildo can vibrate and pulse. The tube contains a vaccine of sorts. Traces of the chemicals coat the outside that the subject licks to ingest the chemicals, which have a slightly saltly and sour taste. When inserted into a female and the subject orgasms, the liquid is injected into the body, which then protects the subject from certain poisons and diseases which are sexually transmitted. The second dildo, used on both males and females, is an anal dildo, which is much thinner and has wiggling ticklers on the end. The ticklers can be retracted to absorb the protection chemicals, then pushed back out when anally inserted.
In order for the subject to be able to spontaneous heal from injuries, they must ingest a large amount of sexual juices (male or female) from a Xylon Warrior, who carries the ability in their system. This is not required, but is 90% effective and highly recommended, especially for warriors wanting to move up in rank. The juices must be ingested directly. Contact with non-living tissue neutralizes the healing elements.
After the chemicals are in the body, the subject becomes almost sexually insatiable for several hours (a side-effect of the chemicals) and must be satisfied, generally by multiple partners, so their brainwaves do not become distrupted, which can cause insanity or death. Sometimes the person being initiated will not remember the ceremony or all parts of it, due to the disruption of brainwave activity (most common in those who are not full Xylon). A female cannot be impregnated during an initiation.
Once the subject is completely initiatied, the lead warrior can maintain a relationship, if desired, until the Council of Thirteen selects a mate for them.
A subject can be re-initiated if necessary. Two initiations are the maximum allowed -- the chemicals and processess will not work after that. The particulars of any specific initiation rite are generally not discussed, in accordance with Lair of Xylon privacy policies.
Initiation rites of any harvested women are planned well in advance and changes are not common (especially if performed off-planet) without council approval.
There are 5 dedicated initiation chambers (I-Chambers) in the Lair. The ceremony chambers are set up like guest quarters to ease any tension. Spicy-scented aphrodisiac, along with fresh air, is filtered into each chamber during the rite. A panic button is also installed in each room for emergencies.
NOTE: The last step of an Egesa initiation of a male involves the very painful injection of an 8-inch long needle into the head of the male's cock.

Joining Party - a ritual gathering where Xylon Warriors engage in sex acts while others watch; the ritual is voluntary but most do at least attend, if not participate, at one time or another. Traditionally, the females will wear orchid and pink to indicate their participation.

Rite of the Triad - the coming of age of a new set of leaders, which can include good as well as evil siblings.
It is foretold that the daughter of a Triad of Power will give birth to the next Triad of Power. This is the true reason that Daegal wants to destroy Laszlo, Alexa, and all Xylons, so that he will be the guaranteed, ultimate ruler and power in their galaxy and beyond.
Laszlo believes that Daegal and his other brother are sterile and any female they try to mate becomes sterile (though no proof of this yet exists). It's a possible reason why Daegal tried to rape Alexa -- to render her sterile. |
